Marius Șumudică announces the last-minute transfer of Denis Drăguș

Former coach of Rapid Bucharest and Trabzonspor, Marius Șumudică, who is in a family relationship with Denis Drăguș, announces the transfer of the Romanian striker in this summer transfer window.

Denis Drăguș is leaving Trabzonspor, and Marius Șumudică announces that he has reached an agreement with another team in Turkey, Eyupspor. The former player from Viitorul or Standard Liege is set to be loaned out for a season by Trabzon, and at Eyup, he will earn a salary of over 1.5 million euros. In addition to his current salary, substantial bonuses will be added to the contract he will sign.

Șumudică announced this transfer of his godson, with whom he spoke last night. He is set to sign the contract with the team that finished sixth in Turkey last season:

"Today he signs and transfers to Eyupspor. Trabzon has agreed to a one-year loan. They have a very wealthy owner, they missed out on European cup qualification by one point. A very good team, highly desired by the owner. At midnight, I spoke with him, discussing the transfer."

Fanatik.

Denis Drăguș was also wanted this summer by FCSB, who similarly wanted to loan the Romanian, but faced a firm refusal from the striker, as well as an impossible salary to pay for the conditions in Romania.
