Here you will find the terms and conditions for accessing spotmedia.ro. Below you will find:

• The rules for using our services.
• What you can do with the content we provide.
• What we can do in relation to what you post or send us.

In short, here you will find your rights and responsibilities as a user.

Please read these things before using our services because, by accessing spotmedia.ro, you implicitly agree to comply with the terms and conditions.

But first, let’s clarify a few terms:

• When we say “Site” – we mean spotmedia.ro.
• When we say “User” – we mean any person who visits or accesses the site, whether they log in with a Disqus/Facebook/Twitter account or simply visit it.
• When we say “Services” – we mean any digital product we provide, such as the website.
• When we say “Content” – we mean articles, interviews, analyses, editorials, audio and video materials, photographs, what readers send us (user-generated content), as well as items on the technical side, such as graphics, software, metadata or open-source codes.
• When you access content from our partners – something that will always be specified – you will also be subject to the terms and conditions imposed by them, so please read theirs as well.
• The site administrator is the company SPOT AGENCY S.R.L., with its registered office at Șoseaua Mihai Bravu, No. 194, Building 203, Entrance A, Floor 9, Apt. 34, District 2, Bucharest, Postal Code 021345.

Here are the terms and conditions that protect both you and us from problems:

1. Respect our work

The content belongs to the site administrator, and it is prohibited to copy, take over, reproduce, publish, transmit or distribute, in whole or in part, in original or modified form, the content for commercial purposes or for any purpose other than personal ones.

You can – and we encourage you to do so – share our materials on social networks, with friends and family, express your opinion in a civilised manner in the comments or to the newsroom’s address, or in any medium and context you consider appropriate.

Content for which another rights holder or another source is indicated does not belong to the site administrator. The opinions or comments of users do not belong to the site administrator either.

The rules apply regardless of whether the content reaches you through direct viewing on the site, through newsletters, through takeover by partners or through any other materials directly or indirectly related to the site.

Requests to use the content for any purposes other than personal ones can be sent through any of the means indicated on the site’s contact page. In the absence of an explicit, written agreement setting out the conditions for takeover, the content may be taken over up to a maximum of 500 characters and with citation of spotmedia.ro in the lead, with an active link.

It is strictly prohibited and punishable according to the legislation in force for persons or entities to claim that they represent the site without having a prior written agreement with the administrator.

The site administrator reserves the right to take legal action against any person/entity that infringes these provisions in any way.

2. Thank you for the help, but you should know that…

In the case of user-generated content – what you send us at the newsroom’s address or through other communication channels – you should know that you implicitly agree to grant us, on a non-exclusive basis and for an unlimited period, the rights to use, adapt, modify or retransmit the content.

At the same time, you undertake not to prejudice in any way the copyright of a third party. Thus, you accept that liability rests exclusively with you.

3. Interact with respect for yourself and others

It is strictly prohibited to post on the site any content, such as materials, comments, images or videos, that use obscene or vulgar language, are obtained by breaking the law or whose content, in itself, breaks the laws in force, are defamatory, threatening, abusive or indecent, contain racist, xenophobic or discriminatory messages, or contain or encourage any behaviour that infringes human rights and freedoms, according to the legislation in force.

You accept that you are solely responsible for any materials, data and information you post on the site and for any legal or commercial effects deriving from them.

You accept that, in the event of a breach of these provisions, your access to our services may be suspended in whole or in part, without any prior warnings or notifications and without any other formalities being necessary in this respect.

As a final piece of advice, please check the Terms and Conditions section periodically, as the administrator may change the provisions without prior notice. We assure you, however, that such changes do not happen often, but especially when there are changes in legislation or when we launch new services.
