The Tate brothers are looking for a home in Cluj and have set their sights on one of the city’s most beautiful buildings

The Tate brothers, Andrew and Tristan, intend to buy the Continental Hotel in the center of Cluj and permanently move to the city.

The two were recently spotted in Cluj-Napoca. According to Cluj24, the visit is related to a possible real estate and relocation plan.

"They Want to Avoid Crowds"

Contacted by Cluj24, lawyer Alexandru Rîșniță stated that the Tate brothers appreciate the atmosphere in Cluj more than in Bucharest and are looking for a residence in the city.

"They want to buy the Continental Hotel and establish their residence in Cluj. They wish to avoid crowds and would like to renovate there, to make a large house. The purpose of the visit is to appreciate the culture of Cluj more than that of the capital, the city's vibe, and the lack of crowding, which is why they are looking for a home here," the lawyer said.

He added that the Tate brothers are also considering the option of purchasing the entire historic building in the city center. "We have seen this option with the hotel that is in the center, from which a quite beautiful house can be made. Yes, they have thought about buying the Continental Hotel completely," said Alexandru Rîșniță.

The Continental Hotel is one of the most famous historic buildings in Cluj-Napoca. The property, located in the city center, has been closed for several years and has been the subject of controversies related to degradation and delayed rehabilitation projects.

The Legal Issues of the Tate Brothers Continue

Andrew Tate, 39 years old, and his brother Tristan, 37 years old, have been under investigation in Romania since 2022 in a case handled by DIICOT.

Prosecutors accuse them of recruiting and sexually exploiting several women, including minors, using the "loverboy" method, through which victims were allegedly emotionally manipulated and then forced to produce pornographic materials. Andrew Tate is also under investigation for rape. The two have consistently denied all allegations.

Since the investigation began, the Tate brothers have been detained, placed under house arrest, and later placed under judicial control. The trial in the first case opened in Bucharest has not yet effectively started, as the court identified several procedural issues in the indictment.

Simultaneously, the two are also under investigation in the United Kingdom. British police announced at the end of March that they have reopened investigations after several women accused them of rape and sexual assault for incidents that allegedly occurred between 2014-2015.
