In the spring of 2022, shortly after Vladimir Putin ordered his army to invade Ukraine, tens of thousands of young people from Russia emigrated to the West out of fear of war. Kira Dikhtyar, a successful model, influencer, and TV star, was going the opposite way, leaving New York for Moscow.
Born in Russia, Kira, now 37 years old, made a splash in America in the early 2000s, at a time when the fashion industry was booming and had a global impact.
The sudden abandonment of contracts worth hundreds of thousands of dollars for appearances on TV shows, commercials, and promotional events for brands and companies piqued the curiosity of those in the industry, especially as Dikhtyar quickly positioned herself on Vladimir Putin’s side, criticizing the U.S., led at the time by President Joe Biden, for the military aid provided to Ukraine.
"There is no more peace, and that is the fault of the United States of America," declared Kira Dikhtyar in June 2022, quoted by The Washington Post.
"If the U.S. did not support the Ukrainian army, there would be peace... but since they sent military equipment to Ukraine and provided large sums of money to this country, Russia is now forced to send more soldiers and more equipment onto the battlefield, which can lead to more casualties and prolong the conflict...," commented the model at the time, aligning her position with Vladimir Putin's vision.
Zampolli, Epstein's Friend, Romania's Friend
At that time, Kira Dikhtyar played a role. Using her global celebrity status, she had to show the world that the war in Ukraine did not affect Russia, and life in Moscow was the same as before, where businesses could continue to thrive. The model had investment plans in the local industry.
Today, with Donald Trump's return to the White House, Kira Dikhtyar no longer makes anti-American comments, living in Moscow, somewhat isolated, dedicating herself to her family, and occasionally posting on Instagram photos from her glory days.
But the famous model is living proof of the close ties between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump - one of the explanations for the American president's reactions, doing everything in his power to help Russia defeat Ukraine, despite the devastating consequences for European security.
From 2009 to 2018, according to Epstein's files released by the U.S. Department of Justice this year, Kira Dikhtyar recruited around 40 young women, some of whom were minors, for Epstein's prostitution and human trafficking network, run by Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.
Additionally, in the Epstein files, there are emails and video interviews conducted by investigators, in which Kira Dikhtyar interacts with Paolo Zampolli, the current ambassador of Donald Trump for "global partnerships," whatever that may mean.
Paolo Zampolli visited Romania twice, being cultivated intensely by the authorities in our country, with the aim of improving relations with the U.S. and saving the strategic partnership.
Moreover, the Italian businessman has a significant influence over the American president. Zampolli introduced Melania, Donald Trump's current wife, to him.
"An Italian model agency owner and self-proclaimed diplomat, Zampolli had extensive and documented connections with Jeffrey Epstein over more than a decade," states a report published on the "EpsteinExposed" website, which analyzes the extensive case.
"He founded ID Model Management agency in New York in the 1990s and is credited with bringing Melania Knauss (later Trump) to the United States in 1996. Around 2004, Zampolli and Epstein together tried to acquire the Elite Model Management agency from John Casablancas, with Epstein providing financial support. FBI document EFTA00105195, from an interview with a cooperating witness, confirms Zampolli's role in Epstein's connections in the modeling industry," the report further states.
Gymnasts, a Bridge Between Trump and Putin
Kira Dikhtyar, the famous model from Russia who worked for years with Epstein and Paolo Zampolli, an intimate friend of Trump, is also part of Vladimir Putin's close relationships circle.
Prior to the invasion of Ukraine, Kira Dikhtyar and Alina Kabaeva worked together, being involved in several social projects to protect women in Russia from violence and sexual abuse.
And thus, the circle closes, documenting a direct relationship between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin, before the former became the U.S. president, based on individuals who did business and were associated with Jeffrey Epstein, charged with human trafficking, sexual abuse, and pedophilia, who died in prison in August 2019.
The connections between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin are stronger than ever, Paolo Zampolli, the common denominator between the two, is a strong supporter of lifting the sanctions imposed on Russia by the U.S. and the European Union after Putin invaded Ukraine.
A Disconnected Country
The former leadership of Romania had no strategy towards the U.S. and the possibility of Joe Biden losing the presidential elections.
The amateurism of Iohannis, Ciucă, and Ciolacu was so great that political leaders overturned the entire electoral calendar of 2024, setting the presidential elections a few weeks after those in the U.S., calling on Romanians to vote exactly during the most tense period in the U.S., during the transfer of power.
Following Trump's victory, the privileged relationship with Putin, and the signals coming from the Kremlin, all pro-Russian networks in Romania overnight became pro-American.
Suddenly, America was no longer Romania's enemy, as it had been portrayed until then by influencers supported by the Kremlin, but our country had to quickly surrender to the new U.S. administration.
Many remember what followed: the fierce attacks from JD Vance, Elon Musk, Tucker Carlson against Romania, the influx of MAGA influencers, supported by the Kremlin, who intensely promoted Călin Georgescu, the blocking of the Visa Waiver program, which had been approved by the old administration, and the tightrope walk of the administration in Bucharest, desperately trying to save the country from the clutches of Russia.
Once again, Romania seems completely out of sync with what is to come in the fall.
Instead of strengthening its relationships with European states, developing connections with Democrats and Republicans who will enter the U.S. Congress in November, all indications pointing to a major defeat for Donald Trump in the midterm elections, rather than developing the partnership with Ukraine, which has become the most efficient European army and has taken the initiative in the war against a Russia torn by internal struggles and a weakening Vladimir Putin, the political leadership of Romania, led by President Nicușor Dan, as well as the leaders of the main parties, scratch at the door of the American administration, begging for attention.
But that door will remain closed because Trump doesn't care about Romania, considering that it betrayed MAGA and, moreover, disrupted his relationship with Putin by blocking the plan to install Călin Georgescu as the country's leader.
