The Italian press announces important news for Chivu, a coach who could achieve a remarkable feat this season with Inter.
According to journalists from "The Boot," Hakan Calhanoglu (32 years old) has decided to stay at Inter for the next season, after Chivu intervened decisively and managed to convince him. The Turkish midfielder was tempted by Galatasaray, which wanted to transfer him as early as last summer, but Chivu persuaded him to extend his stay at "Giuseppe Meazza."
Calhanoglu has scored 12 goals and provided seven assists in all competitions this season at Inter, in 30 matches (2137 minutes).
He still has a contract with Inter until the summer of 2027.
