Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk has won his second fight against Tyson Fury and remains the undisputed world champion holding the WBA (Super), WBO, and WBC heavyweight titles.
After a spectacular fight that lasted for 12 rounds, Usyk emerged victorious with a unanimous decision. It wasn’t the rematch Englishman Fury had hoped for, as the fight took place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Seven months after their first encounter, the two boxers did not disappoint in the grand ring of Arabia. Usyk secured his 23rd victory out of 23 possible in the professional circuit, managing to neutralize Fury’s onslaught with a very agile movement. All three judges ruled in his favor, leaving Tyson Fury extremely dissatisfied with the decision as he immediately left the ring.
Following the match, Usyk stated that he is not planning to stop here. "I can do more," he said. Perhaps a match with Daniel Dubois, the IBF champion.
All judges scored the fight the same, 116-112. And the Ukrainian boxer remains the undefeated and undisputed heavyweight champion.
