Retired from tennis in February 2025, Simona Halep (33 years old) will return to the court.
Simona will take part in an exhibition match at the tournament in Iași, alongside Andrei Pavel.
The former world number one said she intends to gladly honor the invitations she receives.
"I will go to Iași. It's the only exhibition match planned this year. I don't know what will happen. I will gladly honor all the invitations I receive, and we'll see," stated Simona Halep at the Romanian Sports Gala, according to gsp.ro.
Simona Halep will be present at the UniCredit Iași Open, a competition scheduled to take place between July 14 and 20, 2025.
