Horatiu Moldovan (27 years old), the goalkeeper of the Romanian national team, is changing teams.
Moldovan played a key role in promoting Sassuolo back to Serie A, but he will not stay in Italy. The club’s bosses have decided not to sign him permanently from Atletico Madrid.
The goalkeeper is not short of offers. He will return to Atletico Madrid, which intends to keep him in the squad for the Club World Cup, but he has also received another offer. The Turkish press, cited by the website forzasassuolo.it, announces that Moldovan is wanted by Kocaelispor.
The Turkish team has achieved promotion to the top league after 16 years, and Horatiu Moldovan is on the transfer list.
"Negotiations are heading in a positive direction, and the Romanian's career may continue in Turkey," the source mentioned.
Horatiu Moldovan played in 27 matches for Sassuolo in the recently concluded season, and in 11 of them, he did not concede a goal.
