An Austrian football player was shocked by what he found in Romania.
Goalkeeper Stefan Krell from Unirea Slobozia remembered the first moments spent in our country.
He stated that he couldn't believe his eyes when he saw people riding carts in our country.
"The first time I went to Călăraşi, in the second league. I arrived at the airport, everything was ok. I saw Bucharest, then I went towards Călăraşi. When (note - the driver) turned right to exit the highway, I was shocked because you see people riding with a horse, I don't know how to say it, with a cart."
It's a bit different, I was a bit shocked, but then I was positive because everything is much more familiar here. Everyone is together, you are welcome, and I was able to stay with my colleagues, with their families, and it was an incredible feeling," said Krell, according to Orange Sport.
Stefan Krell arrived in Romania in 2019 and played for Dunărea Călărași, Sporting Roșiori, Ceahlăul Piatra Neamț, and Unirea Slobozia.
