Dacia Offers Up to €40,000 in New Voluntary Exit Program for Employees

Approximately 200 engineers and specialists from the Titu Technical Center and Automobile Dacia will be able to benefit from amounts of up to 210,000 lei within a new voluntary departure campaign launched by the company.

Compensations are given based on seniority, as follows:

- up to 2 years: **45,000 lei** (approximately 9,000 euros)
- 2 - 4 years: **85,000 lei**
- 4 - 8 years: **125,000 lei**
- 8 - 12 years: **150,000 lei**
- 12 - 16 years: **180,000 lei**
- over 16 years: **210,000 lei** (approximately 40,000 euros)

The program targets employees from the engineering and research and development area and is part of the Renault Group's strategy to adjust staff globally, amidst the reduction of automotive design and development activities.

Additionally, the transfer of motorization activities to the company Horse and the outsourcing of components for electric vehicles have significantly reduced the workload in certain engineering departments.

The voluntary departure campaign will start on June 3 and is described by sources as having "a proactive nature," offering employees the opportunity for a supported financial transition.

Eligible are employees with indefinite contracts from areas undergoing reorganization or projects nearing completion. Contract terminations will be done by mutual agreement, starting from July 6, 2026.

Renault Group previously announced a reduction of approximately 20% of the personnel in engineering centers worldwide, as part of the strategic plan "FuturREady," aimed at increasing the group's competitiveness.

In Romania, the company conducted a similar program at the Dacia plant in Mioveni at the beginning of the year, targeting around 900 employees, with compensations of up to 210,000 lei.
