The Scottish press announces that Ianis Hagi has changed his mind regarding the transfer from Rangers.
Although he was sent to the Scottish team’s reserve squad, Ianis Hagi has expressed his desire to stay at Rangers.
"Home is good," was Ianis' message after scoring three goals for Rangers' reserve team in a friendly match.
Journalists from Ibrox News interpret Ianis' message as a clear signal he is sending to coach Philippe Clement to give him a new chance.
"It doesn't seem like the kind of comment a player desperate to leave Rangers this summer would make. If Philippe Clement is willing to give the player a new chance, it appears that Hagi would be willing to stay at Ibrox even after the transfer window and fight for a place in the first team under the Belgian's command. It would be difficult for the Rangers boss to ignore him if he continues to impress at the reserve team," the source wrote.
However, the chances for Ianis to stay at Rangers are minimal, as the coach has made it clear that he no longer counts on the Romanian player.
Currently, Ianis does not have any concrete offers, but his agents are looking for a new team for him.
