A team from the Superliga has announced the dismissal of the coach following the latest result.
Leo Grozavu leaves Poli Iași after the defeat suffered against FC Botoșani, with a score of 2-1.
"We're sorry, we remain friends," starts the statement of the Moldovans about the coach who has been in charge of Poli Iași for 17 months.
"Tonight, the leaders of our club and coach Leo Grozavu have decided, by mutual agreement, after a meeting, to end the technician's mandate at the helm of our team," Poli Iași announced.

The team will be temporarily coached by assistant coach Mugurel Cornățeanu.
Leo Grozavu took over Poli Iași in October 2022 and promoted it to the top league.
