Major changes in the WTA ranking after Wimbledon: How the new top 10 looks

WTA announced, Monday morning, the new world ranking, and major changes were recorded in the top 10.

Six out of the top ten players in the world have seen changes in the global hierarchy following the results of the last two weeks.

Iga Swiatek remains in the first position, but changes are seen from 5th place downwards. Jasmine Paolini and Danielle Collins have moved up two positions, Qinwen Zheng and Maria Sakkari one each, but the main protagonist is the winner Barbora Krejcikova, who climbed 22 places.

Meanwhile, Jessica Pegula lost one spot.

The WTA Top 10 is as follows:

  2. Coco Gauff - 8,173
  3. Aryna Sabalenka - 7,061
  4. Elena Rybakina - 6,376
  5. Jasmine Paolini - 5,518
  6. Jessica Pegula - 4,665
  7. Qinwen Zheng - 4,055
  8. Maria Sakkari - 3,925
  9. Danielle Collins - 3,702
  10. Barbora Krejcikova - 3,573

Sorana Cîrstea drops 6 spots and lands at 37, Jaqueline Cristian falls 4 positions to 66, while Ana Bogdan loses 11 spots and is now at 68. Simona Halep also drops one place and is at 1,127.
