Albion Rrahmani (23 years old) left Rapid for Sparta Prague, and the leadership of the club from Giulești made an important announcement about the transfer of a replacement.
Through the voice of Viorel Moldovan, the club’s president, Rapid announced that they have a long list of names from which they will choose Rrahmani’s replacement.
Moldovan specified that he hopes Rapid will be inspired in choosing another forward, perhaps even better than Rrahmani.
"We have a quite substantial list and I hope we will be inspired to choose as best as possible, to find a new Rrahmani, maybe even better than him. We are looking in the country and abroad, but options are limited in the country. Players come and go, that's life, Louis Muntenau stayed then to train alongside Fiorentina, it was his and the coach's desire. In the meantime, things have changed, we need to focus on something else, we don't have time to mourn," stated Viorel Moldovan after Rapid - Dinamo 1-1, quoted by ProSport.
Rapid obtained five million euros in exchange for Albion Rrahmani, plus 15% from a future transfer of the Kosovar.
