The name of the team that is favored to secure Ianis Hagi’s signature has been revealed.
Former striker Adrian Ilie, now an agent, announced that Galatasaray is in pole position to transfer the Romanian.
"For Ianis, there has always been a discussion with Galatasaray or a team from Turkey. I hope he will go there because it is a strong club and he will play more. At the moment, I know they are focused on winning the championship, but there has always been talk. If he remains free, I believe 90% he will go to Galatasaray. Now it depends on the contract with Rangers, there are some payments to be made. He still has one year left on his contract. If they want to sell him, now is the best time," said Adrian Ilie on Prima Sport.
Turkish journalists have written that Ianis Hagi will join Galatasaray, but his father stated that he knows nothing about this matter.
One thing is certain, Ianis will not stay at Alaves at the end of this season. He will return to Rangers, and the club will decide whether to keep him or not.
From information published in the Scottish press, Ianis has little chance of staying at Rangers.
