A Romanian footballer announces that he has transferred „to a huge club” and is ready for a new challenge.
Denis Drăguș confirmed his transfer to Trabzonspor, a club that paid 1.7 million euros to buy him from Standard Liege.
“I am happy that I have taken steps forward, that I have been at this final tournament and it was extraordinary what I felt here. We always need challenges. I have also transferred to a huge team in Turkey, which plays in European cups. I wish for new challenges and to relive moments like these also with the national team,” said Denis Drăguș.
Trabzonspor finished 3rd in the last season in Turkey, after Galatasaray and Fenerbahce.
Trabzonspor boasts 7 Super Lig titles, 9 Turkish Cups, and 10 Super Cups in its history.
Denis Drăguș comes after a season in which he scored 14 goals for Gaziantep.
