The soap opera of whether Ianis Hagi will stay at Rangers next season is nearing its conclusion.
An outcome somewhat expected, as Ianis Hagi and his team were just eliminated from Europe on Thursday night, after a 0-2 defeat against Bilbao in the Europa League quarter-finals. A disappointing season, as Rangers will lose the title to their rival Celtic, and they were already long eliminated from the Cup, back in the round of 16.
So, the bosses at Ibrox Park have drawn up a list of the first departures this summer, and Ianis Hagi is part of this list. As Ibrox News claims, Rangers have already lined up the exits of Hagi, Kasanwirjo, Lawrence, and Balogun. The 26-year-old Romanian was substituted at halftime on Thursday against Athletic, after a rather lackluster performance.
He still has a contract until June 30 with the British club, so if the above information is confirmed, the Romanian will leave Scotland after five years, during which he only won one title, back when Liverpool's great legend Steven Gerrard was in charge of the blue and white team.
