Dennis Man is as good as transferred to the Dutch champions, PSV Eindhoven, a team that will compete in the major group of the Champions League starting this fall.
The former midfielder from FCSB will be transferred from Parma to Eindhoven, and at 27 years old, the Romanian right winger is not entirely certain of his starting position even in the Netherlands, as he will compete there with a Croatian midfielder in great form, Ivan Perisic, a former champion with Inter.
The local newspaper Eindhoven Dagblad claims that the transfer is finalized for 7.5 million euros plus performance bonuses. The contract will span over 4 years, and the Arad native's salary will be around 1.5 million euros per season.
After playing 4 years at PSV, Gica Popescu, former captain at FC Barcelona as well, has come to know the club from Eindhoven very well. Currently the president at Farul, Popescu has told Dennis Man that he needs to be serious and give his all every day, otherwise he will have no chance in the Netherlands.
"Eindhoven plays 4-3-3, with wingers. and Dennis Man is a winger. His speed can make a difference there. However, Dennis must understand that he needs to be very serious. There are no half measures in the Netherlands. If he goes with half measures, he might as well stay home! It's an intense football, based on effort and discipline.

Only two other Romanian players have played for PSV, Gica Popescu between 1990-1994, with 130 matches, plus Ovidiu Stângă, between 1996 and 2001, with 68 matches and 7 goals.
Dennis Man is the third most highly valued Romanian footballer, after Radu Drăgușin and Andrei Rațiu, with a value of 10 million euros.
