Over 5000 supporters attended this practice match at the AKON Arena stands to watch and cheer on the national team players under the guidance of Edi Iordanescu. After several minutes of warm-up and a series of light physical exercises, the coach divided the players into two teams, with the specification that Denis Alibec watched everything from the sidelines, still not fully recovered medically.
The composition of the two teams was as follows:
1: Moldovan - Rațiu, Drăgușin, Racovițan, Bancu - Olaru, M. Marin, Cicâldău - I. Hagi, Pușcaș, Fl. Coman.
2: Niță - Sorescu, Rus, Nedelcearu, Mogoș - R. Marin, Șut, Stanciu - Man, Drăguș, Mihăilă.
Andrei Burcă and Daniel Bîrligea played the role of jolly joker, an additional player for the team in possession, and the third goalkeeper, Târnovanu, also entered at some point, the three goalkeepers having moments of rest as well, as reported by Gazeta Sporturilor.
It must be mentioned that Andrei Burcă returned to the team with fresh forces, now being 100% physically prepared, while Denis Alibec's return is still awaited, as he trained alone today, on his own.
The training session lasted overall under an hour, and at the end, the national team players were openly applauded by the many Romanians who came to support them even at this practice match.
