Răzvan Sava (23 years old), the goalkeeper for Udinese, has announced his departure from the Italian team.
Transferred from CFR Cluj in the summer of 2024, Răzvan Sava has played a few matches for the Serie A team, but is currently the backup for Maduka Okoye.
When asked about his future, Sava stated that he would like to leave Udinese if he receives an offer to that effect.
"If I had an offer and the club agreed, I would leave. But for now, I am trying to focus on training, to be as prepared as possible. Then, in the summer, when the transfer window opens, we will see what they want. If they want me to stay here and play, or if they would prefer me to leave. But, obviously, it's better to play.
It's difficult (note: to be a substitute), because you feel the game even when the starting 11 is on the field. You feel like you are there, in the game. I think I experience the match even more intensely from the bench than when I am on the field. But, like any goalkeeper, I try to train as well as I can. When the time comes, you have to prove that you are ready," stated Răzvan Sava, according to flashscore.ro.
Răzvan Sava has played 10 matches (889 minutes) in all competitions this season at Udinese, and in two of the games he did not concede a goal.
He is valued at 2.5 million euros by Transfermarkt.
