Approaching the end of his contract with Rangers, Ianis Hagi (26 years old) is free to decide his future, which for the moment is up in the air.
The Scottish press is calling for Hagi Jr.’s contract to be extended, following the latest injury suffered by the Romanian international, who was injured in the derby against Celtic.
The Scots argue that Rangers should lend a helping hand to Ianis Hagi, in case the injury suffered against Celtic is a long-term one.
"If his injury is serious, Rangers must do the right thing and extend his contract for another year, even if they will receive little in return from Ianis. Hagi did a favor for Rangers last summer (ed. note - he insisted on staying with the team), it's time for that favor to be repaid," argue those at Rangers News.
Ianis has offers from the Bundesliga, and his agents are negotiating a transfer.
