Horațiu Moldovan (26 years old) is getting closer and closer to leaving Atletico Madrid.
The Spanish press announced on Tuesday the transfer of Horațiu Moldovan, who joined Atletico Madrid at the beginning of 2024. After not playing a single minute for the team from the Spanish capital, which bought him from Rapid for 800,000 euros, he is preparing to leave.
Journalist Matteo Moretto from Relevo announces that Rayo Vallecano is "negotiating the transfer" of Horațiu Moldovan. At Rayo, Moldovan could be teammates with Andrei Rațiu, his compatriot from the Romanian national team.
It remains to be seen whether an agreement will be reached between Rayo Vallecano and Atletico Madrid, as well as what form the move will take, loan or permanent transfer.
Horațiu Moldovan did not get the chance to make his official debut in a match with Diego Simeone's team, as the competition with Jan Oblak proved fatal for him.
He is valued at 2.5 million euros by Transfermarkt.
