Free agent after his contract expired, Florin Niță (37 years old) is preparing to sign a new deal after EURO 2024.
Gaziantep FK and Florin Niță have negotiated, but no agreement has been reached, and the Romanian goalkeeper will change teams. According to gazianteppusula.com, Niță requested a two-year deal and a salary of 800,000 euros, an offer to which the Turkish club officials said "no." Additionally, Niță wanted to receive 400,000 euros upon signing, an advance from the first season's salary.
Gaziantep FK offered Niță a one-year contract, with the goalkeeper dissatisfied with the proposal, and the Turks claim that Marius Șumudică's former team has definitively given up on the goalkeeper.
