Dan Petrescu (56 years old) is the new coach of CFR Cluj.
Through a message posted on Facebook, CFR Cluj officially announced on Tuesday the return of Dan Petrescu to the team’s technical bench.
"CFR supporters, I have returned home. Enough talk, now let's get to work!" Dan Petrescu conveyed to the fans.
Thus, after less than a year since the last separation - a period during which Andrea Mandorlini and Adrian Mutu were on the bench - Dan Petrescu is back at CFR Cluj.
With intervals, Dan Petrescu coached at CFR Cluj between 2017 and 2023, a period during which he won four championship titles and led the team to the Europa League and Conference League group stages.
