Andrei Rațiu impressed at EURO 2024 in Romania’s matches and is on the verge of securing the transfer of his career.
The club showing the most interest is Brighton & Hove, which has had notable performances in the Premier League in recent years.
According to Brighton Bubble, Rayo Vallecano is asking for 10 million euros in exchange for the right-back.
Half of this amount will go to Villarreal, which still holds 50% of the federative rights.
"The transfer will not be easy to accomplish, but Brighton can afford it and wants to sign him," stated the source.
Even though he impressed in the Romanian national team, Rațiu was not a starter at Rayo Vallecano in the last season.
In these circumstances, the Spanish club is considering selling him to make a profit.
