Florinel Coman’s (27 years old) transfer to FCSB, back in Romania, is no longer on the table.
Through the voice of Gigi Becali, the team’s owner, FCSB revealed that Florinel Coman will not return to the Romanian champions.
Becali stated that the former top scorer of the "red and blues" is not allowed by Al Gharafa to come back to FCSB.
"Coman is not coming. He stays there because the Arabs won't let him," said Gigi Becali, according to Sport.ro.
Al Gharafa paid 6.25 million euros, including penalties, for Florinel Coman's transfer from FCSB in the summer of 2024.
The clubs had agreed on 5.25 million euros, but the Qataris did not make the payment within the agreed timeframe, which led FCSB to go to CAS, a body that forced Al Gharafa to pay an additional one million euros in penalties.
