The number of special pensioners in Romania continues to rise. In July 2024, there were 11,696 beneficiaries, an increase of 108 people compared to the previous month.
The majority (5,651) are former prosecutors and judges, according to data centralized by the National House of Public Pensions (CNPP).
In their case, the highest average service pension was recorded at 25,049 lei, of which 21,984 lei was covered by the state budget, and 6,833 lei from the state social security budget.
According to the CNPP, under Law no. 216/2015 regarding the granting of service pensions to members of the diplomatic and consular corps of Romania, 805 individuals benefited in July. The average pension was 6,661 lei, with 3,151 lei supported by the state budget.
Regarding the beneficiaries of Law 215/2015 on the status of parliamentary public official, their number was 887 individuals, with an average pension of 5,744 lei (3,297 lei from the state budget).
According to the National House of Public Pensions, under Law 83/2015 on the status of professional civil aviation crew members in civil aviation in Romania, there were 1,384 pensioners, with an average pension of 12,940 lei, of which 8,296 lei were supported by the state budget.
Service pensions for beneficiaries from the Court of Accounts were granted to 667 individuals, with an average of 9,885 lei, of which 3,138 lei was covered by the state budget.
Also, under Law 130/2015 on the status of specialized auxiliary personnel of the judicial courts and Prosecutors' Offices, there were 2,292 pensioners, with an average pension of 6,509 lei, of which 3,634 lei were supported by the state budget.
