Darian Gabriel Ion, the brother of Rareș Ion – the young man who died from an overdose in the residence of the dealer Tudor Duma, known as „Maru” – was assaulted Thursday afternoon on a boulevard in Bucharest, following a conflict that erupted during a live broadcast on social media.
The incident allegedly started after Darian was invited to participate in a live broadcast by an American influencer known online as „Adonis Live.” The two met in the area of Piața Romană, near a restaurant in Sector 1, where the influencer was broadcasting live.
Darian approached the influencer and attempted to push him. Although Adonis told him to stop, he continued and a physical altercation ensued. As a result of the blow, Darian fell on the asphalt, and another person present approached to offer assistance.
The images were later circulated in the public domain.
Shortly after the incident, authorities intervened. The Bucharest Police announced on Friday that a foreign influencer, aged 33, was detained after allegedly hitting a young man during a live broadcast. Judicial sources specified to Agerpres that it was Adonis Live.
The victim received medical care on the spot but refused transportation to the hospital.
The investigation continues under the coordination of the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Sector 1 Court, with allegations of assault and disturbing public order being analyzed.
