Four Romanian boys aged between 15 and 17 have been placed in pre-trial detention for sexual assault and rape.
They allegedly forced a 17-year-old girl to engage in sexual relations at a high school in Voinești, Dâmbovița County.
On April 10, police officers from the Voinești Police Department were notified by a woman from Pucheni about the fact that a 17-year-old girl had been coerced into having sexual intercourse.
The Dâmboviţa County Police Department stated that an investigation coordinated by the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Târgoviște Court found that, at the beginning of February, at a high school in Voinești, a 17-year-old girl was sexually assaulted and forced to engage in sexual acts by four boys.
This week, the four individuals were detained, and the court ruled for their pre-trial detention for 30 days.
"We specify that the three were already under pre-trial detention as they were being investigated in another criminal case related to the commission of sexual assault, rape, attempted rape, complicity in attempted rape, and complicity in rape," stated the Dâmbovița Police.
