Ianis Hagi is still a free agent after parting ways with Glasgow Rangers, but the news about the Romanian international looks promising this summer.
Ilie Dumitrescu, the former great player from the Golden Generation, currently a TV analyst at Digisport, spoke about Hagi’s imminent transfer. The Romanian has been training at Farul’s base during this period and is currently in advanced discussions with several top 5 European teams.
He says that Gica Hagi's son turned down Edi Iordanescu's offer from Legia: "I met him at the gym. He trained with Farul, participated in training sessions. From what I understood, he had offers from top 5 European leagues.
He also had an offer from Legia, but he didn't accept. There are advanced discussions in top 5 leagues. We hope that they will materialize soon," Ilie Dumitrescu conveyed on the European Football show on the same aforementioned television channel.
At Rangers, Hagi Jr. won a title, a Scottish Cup, and a Scottish League Cup. He scored 20 goals and provided 28 assists in 130 appearances.
Ianis Hagi has only played for two teams in top 5 leagues: Fiorentina (he was registered for 2 years, made 2 appearances for the first team, 19 for the Primavera) and Alaves (on loan from Rangers for 1 year).
