Blow for Cristi Chivu. Inter missed out on another important transfer

Romanian coach at Inter Milan, Cristi Chivu, is hit by blow after blow.

The leader of the standings in Italy cannot make the transfers that Chivu has been requesting since the beginning of this winter transfer window. „Nerazzurri” have not managed any significant move, much to the disappointment of the 45-year-old Romanian coach.

After the transfer of Moussa Diaby from Al-Ittihad (26 years old) fell through, Cristi Chivu received another blow. Inter failed to reach an agreement with Liverpool in the end for the loan deal of Curtis Jones, for which they were willing to pay 40 million euros. The team from "Anfield" declined the offer from "Nerazzurri," according to Fabrizio Romano.

Inter will try at least 1-2 more moves on the transfer market until February 9.

Curtis Jones is a defender with 6 caps for the senior England national team, with 30 appearances in this season for Liverpool, having a market value of 40 million. Curtis Jones' contract with Liverpool expires in the summer of 2027.
