A 15-year-old boy was killed and buried in the yard of a house in the locality of Cenei, Timiș County, Romania.
Alin Mario Berinde had left home on Monday with his scooter and never returned. The next day, his mother reported the child missing to the police.
Following the report, the police initiated searches and first discovered the boy's boots, and later his scooter, hidden in a bush. Subsequent investigations led to the identification of the place where the lifeless body of the minor had been buried, in the yard of a house in Cenei.
According to initial information, Alin was allegedly killed on the street, in front of the residence of a 13-year-old, using an axe. The victim's body was then reportedly transported with a wheelbarrow to the backyard of the house, where it was buried. The body was allegedly undressed, and the head was wrapped in a jacket, as sources cited by News.ro claim.
To justify the presence of blood in front of the gate and in the yard, the attackers slaughtered a chicken to cover the victim's bloodstains, as sources cited by Antena3 state.
The main suspects are two teenagers, aged 13 and 15, who have been detained and questioned by investigators. In the same case, a 21-year-old man, who allegedly witnessed the crime, is also being questioned.
The lifeless body of the victim was taken to the Institute of Legal Medicine for a post-mortem examination.
The police and prosecutors continue their investigations to accurately determine the circumstances in which the crime took place, as well as the degree of involvement of each person in this case.
