Mirel Rădoi, the coach of Universitatea Craiova, has proposed a Romanian footballer to Parma, in Serie A.
The departure of Valentin Mihăilă, transferred by Parma to Turkey after being bought from Universitatea Craiova, prompted Mirel Rădoi to suggest another player from the Oltenia region for Serie A.
The former coach of the Romanian national team mentioned the name of Ștefan Baiaram, stating that "he can cope brilliantly" at the Serie A team.
"I hope Parma continues to acquire Romanian players, now that they have sold Mihăilă. We also have Ștefan Baiaram who can handle it brilliantly there. Let's, in quotation marks, also get rid of Fane," said Mirel Rădoi, at the press conference after Universitatea Craiova - FC Argeș 3-1.
Baiaram scored two goals in the first two matches played for Universitatea Craiova in the new season of the Superliga.
Universitatea Craiova received 9 million euros from Parma in 2020 for Valentin Mihăilă.
He was recently transferred to the Turkish team Rizespor.
