The Scottish press does not forget about Ianis Hagi (26 years old), who left Rangers as a free agent.
The Scots claim that finding a quality replacement for Ianis Hagi will be a challenge for Rangers’ new coach, Russell Martin.
Ianis' versatility and productivity are qualities that could make the Rangers' bosses regret losing him.
"Losing Ianis Hagi, a blow for Rangers. Allowing the Romanian international to leave as a free agent was a bold decision and one that means Rangers have lost a player who has shown in the Scottish league, qualities of a scorer and playmaker.
Hagi caught the eye with his performances on the left side of the attack, as well as an attacking midfielder. (...) He stepped up in crucial moments, and Martin needs to find another player with a similar impact.
Losing a quality free agent could also mean that Rangers need to sell players from other positions to raise funds to transfer a replacement, as it won't be easy to find a player of Hagi's quality," writes footballfancast.com.
Ianis Hagi is still a free agent, and his agents are looking for a new team for him after leaving Rangers.
