Ianis Hagi scored a hat-trick for Rangers and fans are asking for him back: "It's pure madness!"

Ianis Hagi, the 25-year-old Romanian midfielder, scored a hat-trick in a friendly match for Rangers’ reserve team, the Scottish club in blue and white.

Rangers played against Derby County, with a score of 5-3 in favor of the Scottish vice-champions, against the English team competing in the Championship.

Hagi had a fantastic game and scored a hat-trick for his team, even though the Romanian national team's playmaker is not in the plans of the first team's coach, Philippe Clement.

Back in Scotland, Ianis first played a friendly match against Middlesbrough, with a score of 4-3, where the son of the legendary Gică Hagi provided an assist and was substituted at halftime. Hagi was now a starter and was replaced in the 65th minute. The Romanian scored the second goal, and three minutes later, he scored a superb free kick. In the 57th minute, he completed his hat-trick.

After the game, Scottish fans took to social media, immediately demanding Hagi's return to the first team, as reported by footballscotland: "It's pure madness to leave Ianis on the bench. He has an instant impact on the first team," or "He's a better option than Wright, Matondo, or McAusland," and "He should not leave 100%."

It remains to be seen where Ianis Hagi will go this summer, with much talk about a possible move to Fenerbahce, where Jose Mourinho recently became the coach.
