Cele două folosesc Tensor G2, a doua versiune a chipset-ului dezvoltat de Google şi lansat iniţial anul trecut. Construit pe un proces de 4nm, Tensor G2 este un upgrade minor, cu frecvenţe uşor mai mari de rulare, o eficienţă energetică mai bună, ce ar trebui să aibă un impact pozitiv asupra autonomiei, şi cu o grafică mai bună.

Pe partea foto, dacă Pixel 7 se opreşte la două camere foto, modelul Pro se laudă cu o cameră în plus. Pixel 7 are o cameră foto principală de 50MP şi una ultra-wide de 12MP, în vreme ce versiunea Pro are şi o cameră tele de 48MP cu 5X zoom optic.
Pentru securizare există un senzor de amprente integrat în ecran, dar şi un sistem de recunoaştere facială. Compania oferă o conexiune VPN gratuită pe noile sale telefoane şi update-uri de securitate timp de cinci ani.
Pixel 7 Pro are o baterie de 5000mAh, în vreme ce bateria lui Pixel 7 are o capacitate de 4355mAh. Ambele vor fi livrate cu Android 13.
