The Scottish press has made an important announcement regarding the future of Ianis Hagi (25 years old).
Ianis Hagi will return to Rangers once preparations for the new season begin, after an unsuccessful loan spell at Deportivo Alaves in Spain, but his future is not tied to the club at Ibrox Park.
The Scots announce that Ianis Hagi has little chance of remaining a Rangers player starting this summer.
"It remains to be seen if loaned players, such as Abdallah Sima, will return to the team, with Sam Lammers and Ianis Hagi having little chance of being retained in the squad next season," writes the website ibroxnews.com.
Ianis Hagi still has a contract with Rangers until the summer of 2026.
He played 28 matches (1032 minutes) in all competitions last season, with two goals and two assists to his name.
