"It won't be easy, but it will be Nicușor" - Sebastian Stan's hopeful message (Video)

Romanian-American actor Sebastian Stan, known for his roles in international productions and recently awarded a Golden Globe, has sent a powerful message of support for Nicușor Dan in the presidential elections in Romania.

In a quickly viral video clip, Stan is seen writing on a piece of paper the message: „Let’s go vote. #HonestRomania”.

Then, holding a photo of Nicușor Dan in his hand, the Hollywood star continues: "It won't be easy, but it will be Nicușor. Romania, I love you!"

Nicușor Dan publicly thanked him: "I thank the star Sebastian Stan, who won the Golden Globe and was nominated for an Oscar in the Best Actor category, for his explicit and very emotional support. Let's go vote!"

The actor played a controversial and provocative role - that of a young Donald Trump - in a film that garnered critical acclaim and awards.

Donald Trump launched a harsh attack on the film depicting his biography as it gained popularity in the '80s.

Trump says the actor and the film's producers are "human trash," but Sebastian Stan believes the former president should be grateful to him.

Stan was nominated for an Oscar in the category of "Best Leading Actor" for his portrayal of Donald Trump in the film "The Apprentice" and won a Golden Globe for the same role.

Sebastian Stan was born on August 13, 1982, in Constanța. He spent the first eight years of his life in the seaside city. Then, he lived with his mother in Vienna, and at the age of 12, he permanently moved to the United States.

However, Sebastian Stan has not forgotten his origins and often thinks of his native country.
