Trinitas TV of the Romanian Patriarchate announces the official launch of the Trinitas Film platform, a digital streaming service dedicated to documentary films and audiovisual productions with a Christian-Orthodox profile.
The platform is available through the trinitas.film website, as well as through dedicated apps for mobile devices running on Android and iOS operating systems, and for smart TVs.
The launch of Trinitas Film marks an important step in the digital development strategy of Trinitas TV, consolidating its presence online and offering the Christian audience a relevant and coherent alternative in the streaming platform landscape, as stated in the press release.
Trinitas Film aims to become a reference point in the field of religious documentary films and Christian-inspired audiovisual productions, contributing to the promotion of culture, faith, and the Christian-Orthodox identity in the digital space. This initiative responds to the major transformations in the audiovisual field and the new media consumption habits, providing the audience with access to quality content in a modern, flexible, and accessible format anytime and anywhere.
The platform is currently organized around two main catalogs: Trinitas Film - the on-demand content catalog (VoD) and Trinitas Live - the live broadcast catalog.
In the Trinitas Film catalog, users can discover over 150 religious, cultural, social, and historical documentary films, organized by thematic categories. In the future, the platform will also include artistic films with spiritual and moral themes, short film series, video podcasts, and religious musical productions.
The Trinitas Live catalog offers permanent access to the live stream of TRINITAS TV, including the current program of the channel, daily services at the historic Patriarchal Cathedral, and, in the future, at the National Cathedral, as well as other religious and cultural events broadcast live. The program schedule is integrated into the platform, providing information about current and upcoming shows.
Trinitas Film offers users streaming functionalities: personal account, multiple profiles, resume watching, favorites lists, editorial recommendations, playback on multiple devices, and personalized notifications. The platform even allows playback with the screen off, a useful feature for mobile devices.
The access model is mixed: some content is available for free, while full access is granted based on subscription, at a cost of 2 euros per month, with the option to choose discounted subscriptions for 6 or 12 months.
The subscription provides full access to the documentary film catalog, ad-free viewing, and the use of all platform functionalities.
The funds obtained from the sale of subscriptions will constitute support from users for the production of new documentary films and content with religious themes, as well as for the sustainable maintenance and development of the platform.
The platform is intended for the audience in Romania but is also accessible internationally, targeting the Romanian communities in the diaspora and all those interested in the Christian-Orthodox spirituality.
