After substantial increases in recent months, Dacia reports massive declines in two more major markets in Europe: Germany and Spain.
So far, Romania and France have seen significant drops for the Romanian car brand, as revealed by the data analyzed by Profit.ro.
Thus, in Germany, Dacia registered only 3,141 cars in January. This represents a 45.2% collapse compared to the 5,728 cars from a year ago in the same month.
In Spain, the situation is similar, although the percentage of decline is slightly smaller but equally alarming (-36%). With a total volume of 2,993 cars registered, Dacia quickly dropped to the bottom of the list of the best-selling brands, after selling 4,674 cars a year ago.
The unfavorable situation is evident in the best-selling model of the brand in this market, Sandero, which was the sales leader last year and in January, it only ranked 6th.
In Romania, Dacia registered only 1,442 cars in January, compared to over 4,000 a year ago, with a very significant decrease of 64%.
