The Spanish press names the team that has won the „race” for the transfer of Andrei Rațiu (26 years old), the right-back of the national team.
Rațiu has been on the list of several important clubs in Europe, but it seems that the Romanian from Rayo Vallecano has already chosen his future destination.
The Spaniards announce that FC Barcelona has won the "race" for Rațiu's transfer, after the defender agreed to sign with the Catalan team. Deco, the sporting director, has wanted him for a while, and Hansi Flick also said "yes" to the move.
Andrei Rațiu is already looking for an apartment in Barcelona to move in the summer. FC Barcelona will pay €15 million to Rayo Vallecano and will send a player in exchange, Pablo Torre, for the signature of the right-back from Romania.
Rațiu has scored twice and provided two decisive assists in 26 matches (2197 minutes) played in all competitions this season at Rayo Vallecano.
