The Scottish press writes again about the future of Ianis Hagi (26 years old), whose contract with Rangers is coming to an end.
The Scots have announced that the bosses at Ibrox Park have started negotiations to extend the contract, but the subject of Ianis Hagi is once again addressed by the press.
Considering his performances and the fact that he has delivered goals and key passes since being reintegrated into the first team, the potential free loss of Ianis is described by the Scots as "a blow to Rangers."
British journalists believe that Hagi Jr. still has a lot to show and that the Romanian international should be treated as an important player for Rangers.
"He should be considered important for Rangers. At 26 years old, there is still much to see from the Romanian international, so losing him for free at this point in his career would be a blow to Rangers," writes the website footballfancast.com.
Furthermore, the Scots note that Rangers should increasingly seriously consider including him as a key player in the team's long-term plans.
In this season at Rangers' first team, Ianis Hagi has played 18 matches, scoring three goals and providing five key passes.
