One of Romania’s goal scorers in the victory against Ukraine, 3-0 at the European Championship, is in pole position for a transfer.
We are talking about Răzvan Marin (28 years old), the midfielder of Empoli, raised by Gică Hagi in the football academy bearing his name.
According to the Greek press, Răzvan Marin is wanted by Răzvan Lucescu at PAOK Thessaloniki. It seems that the midfielder is on the list of Lucescu's Romanian team, who does not want to wait any longer for Soualiho Meite (30 years old) from Benfica, to whom an offer was made, but the player has not given a final answer.
Răzvan Marin will return to Cagliari this summer after being loaned out by the Italians to Empoli last season, but he may move to PAOK if Răzvan Lucescu decides to advance negotiations for the midfielder.
Marin played 31 matches in all competitions last season at Empoli, providing three decisive assists.
He is valued at 2.7 million euros by Transfermarkt.
