Wim Fissette, former coach of Simona Halep, comes with a new statement for our athlete in defense of the Polish player Iga Swiatek.
The attack launched by Simona Halep (33 years old) against ITIA for the double standard in judging doping cases is still echoing.
Wim Fissette, who recently made revelations about the relationship with Simona Halep, has come up with a new statement for Halep and Swiatek's critics, suspended for a month after being caught doping.
Fissette said, about Halep and Swiatek's critics, that they are "negative people" and wondered if they have read the documents in the Polish player's doping case.
"There will always be negative people. I think anyone who has read all the documents that Iga presented to ITIA can understand what really happened. And they can understand that it was bad luck. It can happen to any athlete.
I think we should ask the negative people if they have read Iga's report or not," said Wim Fissette, according to the website firstsportz.com, citing Onet.
