An undisputed starter at Celta Vigo in the recently concluded season of the Spanish league, Ionuț Radu could have a competitor in the upcoming season.
The Spanish press reports that Celta Vigo is considering the transfer of Diego Conde (27 years old) from Villarreal.
"The team from Galicia is looking for a competitor for Ionuț Radu and sees Diego Conde as a good choice, with a good age and room for improvement. The move is seen as capable of raising the internal level, with Conde having the chance to fight for a starting position," writes Fichajes.
Ionuț Radu played 50 matches (4500 minutes) in all competitions for Celta Vigo this season, keeping a clean sheet in 12 of them.
He is under contract with Celta until 2029.
