Rangers coach Philippe Clement was asked if he will reintegrate Ianis Hagi (25 years old) into the first team squad.
After the Scottish press reported that Ianis Hagi and Rangers have reconciled their positions regarding the future of the Romanian international and that he could be reintegrated into the squad, the Scottish club’s coach was asked if this will happen.
Clement left room for interpretation with the statement he made about Ianis Hagi, the Romanian international who was sent to train with Rangers' reserve team.
"I can't say anything at the moment. We talked about his situation a few months ago. It was an open and honest discussion with him and his agent. I told him that we don't see him as the team's number 10 in the upcoming seasons and that he needs to find other opportunities.
The situation remains the same, and now Bajrami has also arrived (note: transferred from Sassuolo). We'll see in the future (note: if Ianis Hagi will be reintegrated into first team training). I can't say anything now," Clement stated during a press conference, as quoted by Digi Sport.
