Daniel Bîrligea, the Romanian forward in Serie A from Frosinone, could be greatly helped by an unexpected transfer.
The 26-year-old player, bought by Frosinone for 1.5 million euros from FCSB, doesn’t have many minutes and achievements yet at the newly promoted Italian team.
Bîrligea has a high chance of being permanently acquired by Frosinone for an additional 3.5 million euros, and the clause will be automatically activated if the yellow-blue team remains in Serie A at the end of the season.
So far, the Romanian has gathered just over 15 minutes, and his performances have been overshadowed by Antonio Raimondo (22 years old), the Italian who has had a sensational season start with 7 goals in 7 matches, currently leading Serie A's top scorer list.
Gazzetta dello Sport writes that Italy's U21 international could be transferred to Juventus as early as January: "Juventus is interested in Antonio Raimondo, the Italian forward currently at Frosinone, and is considering the possibility of transferring him during the upcoming transfer window. However, Juventus' plan might involve keeping the player at his current team until the end of the season to allow him to continue his consistent development. Raimondo is owned by Bologna, the club he is expected to return to next summer at the end of his loan spell. Juventus' interest could potentially alter the striker's situation, especially if other clubs express their desire to acquire him. Juventus is not the only team interested in Raimondo. The forward could draw attention from multiple clubs, including those in the Premier League, and such competition could prompt the Turin club to try to finalize the transfer as early as this winter. If the interest from other teams materializes, Juventus may reconsider leaving the Italian at Frosinone until the end of the season and might attempt to bring him in sooner."
If Raimondo were to leave, Bîrligea would compete for a starting spot with Slovakian Tomas Bobcek (25 years old), who this summer became Frosinone's most expensive player ever, being purchased from Lechia Gdansk for 10.7 million euros.
