Edi Iordănescu, the coach of the Romanian national team, has a certainty ahead of EURO 2024.
Romania qualified for a final tournament after eight years, EURO 2024, and Edi Iordănescu believes that the tricolors will be the surprise of the European Championship. The coach said how he thinks Stanciu, Hagi Jr., and the team can spring a surprise at EURO 2024.
Iordănescu stated that, in order to make a good impression, Romania must play as a team, with players sacrificing for each other and giving their all for the good of the group.
"To have a team with many young players at this level can be a challenge, but also an opportunity. Everyone must give their all for the team. We have built a family, everything we have achieved so far has been achieved through the strength of the group. If we are to be a surprise, we will be a surprise as a team, even though we also have players with good individual qualities," said Edi Iordănescu in an interview with A Bola.
Romania is in Group E of EURO 2024, alongside Belgium, Ukraine, and Slovakia.
EURO 2024 is taking place in Germany from June 14 to July 14.
