The announcement was made by the President of the Romanian Tennis Federation, George Cosac.
"We are waiting for Simona to recover for the Transylvania Open. Based on her performance there, she will decide her future for 2025, probably," Cosac told Sport pe Surse.

The tournament in Cluj-Napoca will take place between February 1 and 9, and Simona is returning after a 4-year absence.
