Simona Halep (33 years old) has announced her presence at another tournament, following the one in Hong Kong.
On the day of Simona’s debut at the WTA 125 tournament in Hong Kong, Wednesday, the official announcement regarding our athlete’s participation in the Transylvania Open, scheduled for February 1-9, 2025, was made.
The organizers of the tournament in Cluj-Napoca posted a video on social media in which Simona announces her participation.
"Hello, everyone! With great joy, I announce that I will be playing at the Transylvania Open, from February 1-9, 2025. I can't wait to see you all in Cluj-Napoca, at the BT Arena, and I look forward to seeing you all in the stands. It will be magical!" the athlete said in a video message.
The Transylvania Open is a WTA 250 category tournament.
Halep participated in the 2021 edition of the Transylvania Open.
